WHO:

Participants, Volunteers, & Donors from Knox, Claiborne, Grainger, and Union Counties and beyond!

WHY:

TO MAKE ALZHEIMER'S A MEMORY!

Thereís only one Knoxville Alzheimer's WALK from which 100% of the donations benefit Tennesseans. Alzheimerís Tennessee is an independent, 501c3 not-for-profit organization that has been in the community for more than 30 years serving those facing Alzheimerís disease and related dementias, promoting brain health through education, and championing research, global prevention and treatment efforts.

THE WALK:

The event itself is a Saturday morning filled with celebration!

Participants find LIVE musical entertainment, FREE food, door prizes, and fun for all ages. Even pets are included! The WALK is optional, and participants may choose a shorter, symbolic route or longer greenway route that measures approximately 1Ĺ miles.

Most donations are secured prior to the WALK and turned in on or before the day of the WALK.

Pre-registered WALKers who raise $50 will qualify for a t-shirt (distributed to eligible WALKers at the WALK). More incentives are available for WALKers who raise $100, $200 or more.

Participants may continue turning in funds for at least 30 days following the event. Final fundraising totals will determine Top Prize winners who are recognized, along with Corporate Sponsors, at an Appreciation Lunch.

Reminder: Please include a contribution formwith all donations mailed or delivered to Alzheimer's Tennessee so we know which walker and team to credit.
