Plateau Alzheimer's Tennessee WALK
Duer Soccer Field, Crossville , TN
The Plateau Alzheimer's WALK is a Saturday morning filled with Celebration! Participants and volunteers from Cumberland and Fentress Counties enjoy live musical entertainment, FREE food, door prizes, and fun!
Make sure to sign-up for your Team photo by calling the
Alzheimer's TN office at 931-526-8010
Paws for the Cause: This is a pet friendly event!
Sign up your pet for our "Most Purple" and "Best Dressed" contest at the Pet Tent. Plus, the pet (and his or her team) who raise the most money will be crowned WALK Mascot! Be sure to go to the Pet Line at Registration Stop #2 on the day of the WALK.
The WALK is considered symbolic and optional. Many people enjoy the pre-WALK celebration, during which time they see they are truly not alone with Alzheimer's disease. The WALK can either be a "short fun loop" around the soccer field, or it can be turned into a longer walk around the soccer complex. The WALK Finish Line will be visible to all WALKers.

Organize a Team!
Teams are the heart of what makes Alzheimer's WALK so successful. Families, businesses, churches, organizations and school groups build teams to honor those who have been touched by Alzheimer's.
Team captains and co-captains are the volunteer leaders who build excitement and help teams meet their fundraising goals. They motivate and encourage co-workers, friends and family to join their team and work to promote Alzheimer's WALK.
